Based at International Golf Development, Tony has been responsible for training over 1,000 people to become accredited SNAG Coaches. Each of these coaches will now in turn be able to help grow the game of golf and improve the ability of those playing through the use of the SNAG programmes, principles and techniques. Tony has over 25 years PGA experience, and has coached at all levels from beginners through to European Tour professionals. It is through his involvement in the Junior game however, that he has had the greatest effect on the sport. A strong belief in the integration of golf and education led Tony to create a schools programme that was rolled out nationwide via golf professionals and teachers. He was the first PGA Professional to be appointed Head Professional at an Academic Centre (Myerscough College) in the UK in 1998 and was responsible for introducing cross-curricular activity, using golf as the delivery tool, across Lancashire & Yorkshire. In 2003, Tony was appointed Golf Development Officer for Merseyside and the following year, 2004, saw his efforts in the development of grass roots junior golf rewarded by the presentation of the Sinclair Award for Junior Development. Tony joined SNAG Europe in 2009 and was trained as Master Trainer by Co-Founder and President of SNAG, Terry Anton. Since that time, Tony has trained coaches in many countries worldwide across Europe, Africa and Asia.
